The Tecknik Museum

Today we went to the Tecknik Museum - the closest description I can come up with is if the Air & Space Museum in Washington D.C. had a messy older cousin. It was a very neat little museum with lots for the kids to see and do - my only complaint is that the German's don't believe in Air Conditioning, so it was really hot - all the kids were hot, grumpy and tired by the end of the day. It didn't help that the German bus we had to drive 1.5 hours in didn't have air conditioning or open-able windows - it was a fairly miserable drive back. Mrs. Megan was feeling especially pregnant because of the heat and had to break out a couple of the emergency ice packs from her first aid kit to cool down with!

It didn't come out that well in the photo, but this plane
had a huge curly slide dropping down from it.

Out of nowhere, I realized that there was a piece of the original Berlin wall in one corner of the museum yard and had to snap a quick photo.

It's Cody's birthday tomorrow! Happy 25th Honey!
